Today would have been Jacko’s Birthday!
Paul’s passion was finding and developing local talent. It wasn’t only the ‘Next Big Things’ that Paul nurtured and looked out for. One of his great strengths was the time and patience he afforded to local bands and musicians starting out.

Did you know...
The original 1980 Joy Division “Love Will Tear Us Apart” 7’’ single (FAC 23) features iconic artwork designed by Trevor Key and Peter Saville, depicting a marble tombstone-like image on a white cover. It was famously released by Factory Records and had two main variations: one with thick card stock and a thumb-cut opening, and a later, glossier edition.
Trevor Key (1947-1995) was born in Hull and grew up at 34 De Grey Street just a few doors up the street from The New Adelphi Club.
