The first time I walked at NYFW, I was overwhelmed. The energy, the people, the sheer scale of it all. Felt like I was like stepping into another universe. But amidst the chaos, I found my rhythm. Each step was a testament to the hard work, the sacrifices, and the unwavering belief that I belonged there. It wasn’t just luck; it was the culmination of years of dedication and a refusal to let anyone tell me I couldn’t.
Now, as I prepare for my third NYFW (can’t even believe I am typing this🥹) I carry a sense of pride and gratitude. It’s a reminder that where you come from doesn’t define where you’re going. It’s about believing in yourself, embracing the journey, and never losing sight of the dreams that fuel your soul. And to all the small-town dreamers out there: if I can do it, so can you 🩷
