Our first trip to photograph the stacks since relocating. A stunning sunset, golden colours and a lovely couple of hours enjoying the view. Such a fantastic end to the day 🧔🩵 #isleoflewis #outerhebrides #mangersta #seascape #coast #seastacks #coastalphotography #seascapephotography #photography #scotland #scottishisles #westernisles #benrouk #nisiuk #nikonphotography

Fabulous few hours photographing & enjoying the conditions down at the amazing wee beach. Stunning moody light & colours during sunset, high tide and lots of superb waves. Even better to share to catch up again with Fiona Campbell. 3 stop ND and medium grad perfect combination ā¤ļøšŸ©µ#isleofharris #outerhebrides #scotland #seascape #seascapephotography #coast #coastalphotography #femalephotographer #womeninphotography #westernisles #scottishislands #photography #nikonphotography #longexposurephoto

An amazing couple of hours last week… we arrived to quite a moody sky and an incoming high tide, by sunset all the clouds had disappeared and left behind a bright blue sky. I’m sure we’ll spend many hours here enjoying a variety of conditions 🩵 One from earlier on that evening with a slower shutter speed to create some texture around the foreground rocks @nisi.uk 6 stop ND #outerhebrides #isleoflewis #seascape #landscapephotography #scotlandphotography

Over the last week or so we’ve been out most nights with the cameras, discovering new & beautiful locations around the island to photograph and revisiting some favourites. We were driving when we saw this stunning scene of light, colour, ruggedness and beauty. It’s those fleeting moments that still take your breath away 🧔🩵 #outerhebrides #isleoflewis #scotland #scotlandphotography #landscapephotography

Dun Carloway Broch underneath a blanket of stars and the Milky Way. One that I came across in the folders from last year. A near by street light lit part of the broch which I quite like… last week’s outing to photograph the meteor shower wasn’t as successful due cloud moving in around 12.30am. Nice to see a couple of meteors though 🩵#outerhebrides #astro #milkywayphotography #scotland #isleoflewis

A beautiful sunset at Dalbeg a couple of days ago. The weather has been so calm and settled this week with some actual sunshine which has been so lovely. This time of year when the sun moves around towards our local beaches is incredible, especially with some beautiful light. Most of the cloud had disappeared by the time sunset happened but still incredible to see theses stunning sea stacks from the cliffs 🩵🧔 #outerhebrides #isleoflewis #landscapephotography #seascape #scotland

We’re proud to welcome @adele_warner_tate to the NiSi UK Ambassadors Team. Adele is a seascape photographer based on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides where the wild Atlantic and ever changing coast line shape her work, often heading out in challenging conditions she is drawn to storms, shifting light, long exposure and the raw energy of the sea. As a passionate advocate for women in her field, Adele co-founded the Women in Seascape Photography community, creating a supportive & interactive space for female photographers. Welcome to the NiSi family, Adele! #nisiuk #ambassador

The first time we visited this beautiful little beach i instantly knew we’d spend lots of time here. It’s small but different every time we head out. Calm with beautiful pools of water making great foreground or wild and rough, either way this beach is one of my favourites on Lewis 🩵🧔 #outerhebrides #isleoflewis #landscapephotography #seascape #coast

Dalbeg Beach was the first beach I photographed when visiting Lewis on holiday. It was grey & drizzling with almost white out skies but I can still remember feeling excited about this fantastic little beach. Little did we know then that in just a few months time we’d be living just minutes away. That still blows my mind…. A few images from some lovely sunsets we’ve enjoyed since then 🩵 #isleoflewis #outerhebrides #seascape #landscapephotography #scotland

The last few months feel like a bit of a whirlwind… Busy, challenging, sad and rewarding all at the same time. Between us five trips to the mainland, a family funeral, presenting at the photography show and preparing the gallery ready for the season. It was so lovely to head out and enjoy an hour of photography and reset the pace. Looking forward to seeing more of the sun, the roar of the waves and the quiet calm that the coast brings šŸ©µšŸ’™ @nisi.uk 3 Stop ND and medium grad #isleoflewis #seascape #landscapephotography #outerhebrides #scotland

Absolutely over the moon, delighted and proud to share the news that my image ā€˜Where Winter Lands’ has been awarded 1st place, winning the Sea & Coast category at the @scottishnaturephotographyaward šŸŒŠšŸ“· Alongside four other images shortlisted across three categories 🩵 This photograph was taken on the beautiful Isle of Harris at Luskentyre Beach during heavy snow showers. It was one of those wild, unpredictable days where the weather constantly shifted, with snow sweeping across the shoreline transforming the coast minute by minute. Challenging conditions, but completely magical to experience and photograph. I’m proud to showcase the magic & beauty of the Outer Hebrides through my photography. A huge thank you to the organisers and judges at the Scottish Nature Photography Awards. @visitouterhebrides #OuterHebrides #scotland #photography #isleofharris #landscapephotography
