I was there to enjoy and admire, but as usual, I had my camera in my bagโฆ and I couldnโt resist capturing this hypnotic performance by dear friend
@juliedemont , suspended from her chains.
She performed to a piece by
@mansfield.tya @rebekawarrior @carla_pallone that I deeply love.
What was so striking in the image of Julie in the air, held by her chains, was the parallel with the music.
A music that speaks of an ending, something like a fall, a wearing down, an end of the world.
And she, she held on. Suspended, resisting gravity, somewhere at the breaking point of her own world, and probably pain too.
There was something almost angelic about it, and incredibly powerful.
A striking experience that moved through me and one Iโm grateful to have been able to capture from my seat. ๐ค
