A photo series documenting behind-the-scenes with Dr Sydney Tan, the Music Director for NDP 2025 This series of photos holds many firsts for me. It’s the first time I’m visiting my cousin’s studio, the first time attending a National Day Parade, and it’s the first time we’ve revealed to industry friends we have in common that we’re related. So now I’m putting it out there… Syd is my cousin (our moms are sisters). There’s no family resemblance because we both look like our dads. We’ve also never been particularly close because he’s 18 years older than me, and no 18-year-old boy wants to hang with a baby (see last pic). But now as we all get older and the age divide loses its meaning, it just made sense for me to document his work for NDP — not just for him, but for his family and friends who have tirelessly worked alongside him through all 10 NDPs he’s been involved in. Event Highlights: 48 Hours with Nick Ut in Singapore We were honoured to welcome Nick Ut (@utnicky ), the multi-award-winning photojournalist whose lens has captured moments that shaped history. Over two extraordinary days in Singapore, Nick shared deeply personal stories and powerful insights, inspiring our Leica community with the narratives behind some of the world’s most iconic images. The programme included two intimate sharing sessions. The first was with Leica friends and family, followed by a gathering with @pressclubsingapore . The event concluded with a one-on-one signing session at #LeicaSBQ, where guests had the rare opportunity to meet Nick in person and have their books or prints personally signed. Here are some unforgettable moments captured throughout this remarkable experience.

Today is the official launch of The Soul Needs More Space Than The Body - an exhibition by Munster and Myself. It’s been quite a journey over the last 3 months. For someone who rarely photographs human subjects, coming into this campaign definitely brought me to an unchartered territory, an unfamiliar terrain. I’m glad I took the chance and I’m very proud and excited to share those visuals with you! A shoutout to my wonderful friends who have agreed to be photographed and featured in this exhibition (knowing well that portraiture it not my forte) Without you, this show would have not been possible.
