Wax Dealers take over Cafe Momus for a one-day pop-up celebrating vinyl culture, art, and sound on 28th February in Plymouth.
From 14:00–19:00, dive into a pop-up record store featuring a special Wax Dealers selection, DJ sets from DJ Covee and Adrian Finch, and an art exhibition and live painting session with Tom Orr — blending music and visual creativity in real time.
As the evening unfolds from 20:00–00:00, the space transforms into Gallery on Wax, powered by a Funktion-One sound system. Expect deep, quality selections with

What a great afternoon with like minded souls who made four hours of djing a pleasure..
Always heartwarming when people give that nod of approval or come over to say they've enjoyed the music or what was the tune you played before this one!... Makes luggin three bags of records to unknown venues worth the pain!
We all hear the USB vrs vinyl debate but nothing beats playing vinyl .nothing makes me happier to see people excited that you have that on vinyl... That you took the time to dig it out,that you own a copy, of that it resonates with someone ..
There battered...there a discogs fair at best with worn sleeves and battle scars but like weatherall said,those crackles are the ghosts of the past.
I've been fortunate this year to play with like minded individuals and to open minded crowds with great teams trying there hardest in a dying climate to keep these things alive.
Huge thanks to @things.happen.here for a great day.

In 1987 if you were lucky enough to have a mountain bike,the only bike you would want was a muddy fox...
But! There was never a red one...
Well there were,but only a handful made,possibly only 20,it's a muddy fox courier but also one of the first orange clockworks as it was on the same production line.who hadn't come up with the orange name yet as the company was still called Tushingham until the owners went separate ways and formed orange!! So in terms of UK mountain biking it's a rare find... Top spec for its age..would have cost around £400 to £500 in 1987 when you could buy a semi detached house a yacht and 20 straights for £30....

A mild 8 mile walk over to mount edgecombe then onto cawsand and back,which has totally fucked us...we underestimated the weather, unprepared for the heatwave that appeared from nowhere,but an amazing day spent taking so much in.
