🎶 On the first day of Christmas my cookie got to beeeeee…featured in @dhome magaziiiine 🎶 Thank you @d_magazine for the reminder that just because I’ve made the business decision to not offer intensely detailed cookies - doesn’t mean I can’t create intensely detailed cookies. In September, 12 DFW cookiers were approached to create the 12 Days of Christmas in cookie form. We were assigned our day and asked to keep them all around four inches but the rest was completely up to us. I’m in incredible company. See Me Saturday? Lots of new faces lately, so I thought I’d show MY face. If you follow my stories, I’m no stranger to posting a goofy selfie (especially in my sexy onion goggles) but overall I’m not a fan of being in front of the camera...ever. But I know reminders of the humanity behind the business are important. So slide for the many (goofy is preferred) faces of me.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ I’m proud of the one woman business I have built but my two amazing girls are my biggest accomplishments. I love music, dancing, creating, gifting and loving my people hard. I quote music, shows and movies as if everyone else knows exactly what I’m talking about. I’m not a fan of the biz side of creating. I have a fairly intense fear of elevators (being trapped on one). I’m not afraid to speak my mind, usually in defense of others or to help others feel heard. I loathe just about anything arbitrary or “because that’s the way it’s always been” BUT I’m a huge sucker for traditions. ⁣ ⁣ I’m a cheerleader to the core. (If you’ve been to anything with my children, you’ve seen it. I’ll cheer for your kids too.) I’m a celebrator of all the things, so this business has been an absolute pleasure.
