We're delighted to announce the upcoming release of our radio documentary, the next Lyric Feature, The Dead Reeds, on RTÉ lyric FM this Sunday (9/11) at 6pm.
It's been an amazing journey, full of conversations with cane harvesters, reed makers and uilleann pipe players, which has only deepened our own connection to, affection for, and understanding of the piping community. We can't wait to share it with you!
It will also be available on the RTÉ radio app, the Lyric website, and other streaming platforms.

PIIIIIPES!! Announcing our most committed-to-the-bit programme yet, a piping hot, uber-eclectic night of pipe performance of various moods and methods.
There’ll be foot-tapping tunes on Uilleann pipes from folk musicians par excellence PADDI BENSON and GRACE LEMON. @acuriousdance
You’ll have to pipe down to appreciate SHOLTO DOBIE and ALANAS GURINAS’s exquisitely delicate experimentation via self-built tubes, valves, and vibrating paper. @sholtodobie@alanyla
Bristol’s premier push-fit plumbing-themed drag king PIPE BENDER will be laying pipe (for real, features actual plumbing). @rachaelclerke
And a one-night-only gathering of players form a drone orchestra of 28 recorders reclaimed from a local school. @jo_hellier
