A lot of work, emotions and creativity were involved in the making of “People. Identities. Interactions” exhibition, where participants in the Refugee ArtStart project showcased their visual art, after a few months of photography and illustration classes.

Do you remember that feeling of friendship and complicity you had when sharing a set of headphones with someone close? The enthusiasm of experiencing your favorite song with them and the closeness created within that moment of intimacy? For a few moments, the entire world was blurred out, and just the two of you were left vibrating in unison to a song that I bet you still carry with you.
From our most recent favorite song to representations of cultural heritage that grow on us as we age, art can be useful in exploring identity, building community, and finding common ground with the people around us. It can help us make new friends, deepen our connections with others, remember where we came from, and inspire us to dream big about where we’re going next.
Drawing on the idea of art as a tool for connection, The World Refugee Day Mural created by @wanda.direct captures a candid moment between two young people sharing a song. It stands as a symbol of our capacity to overcome our differences and relate to each other through the universal languages of art and human emotion.

Expoziția Rooted Journeys încheie șirul de activități din cadrul proiectului “Cultural Echoes” aduce împreună comunitatea prin artă, muzică și povești. Ne-am bucurat de concertul plin de emoție susținut de Mohammad Hadi Mogoei, Ciprian Baciu și Radu Varga, și de energia DJ-ilor tineri care au completat atmosfera. 🎶
Un mare „mulțumesc” gazdelor noastre de la Rezidența9, pentru spațiul primitor și deschiderea către diversitate. ❤️

🍀 Mâine, 7 septembrie, între orele 16:00 și 19:00, deschidem curtea Rezidența9 pentru o expoziție de o zi, care marchează finalul unui proiect de șase luni. Vom descoperi împreună ilustrațiile create de copii și tineri în cadrul programului, alături de vocile care au dat viață podcastului „Gossip Culture”.
Evenimentul va începe cu un scurt moment muzical susținut de Mohammad Hadi Mogoei și Ciprian Ciobanu, urmat de intervenții live și de seturi semnate de DJ tineri din culturi diferite – un dialog sonor între ritmuri, identități și energii noi.
Această expoziție nu este doar despre lucrări, ci despre procesul de a ne întâlni, de a împărtăși povești și de a celebra bucuria de a crea împreună. Fiecare desen și fiecare înregistrare spun o poveste despre creativitate, reziliență și comunitate.

Evenimentul are loc duminica, 7 Septembrie, intervalul 16.00 - 19.00, își propune să aducă împreună comunitatea prin artă, muzică și dialog intercultural.
🎨 Vom expune lucrările de artă realizate de copiii din program și îi vom cunoaște pe tinerii din spatele Podcastului Gossip Culture.
🪕 Seara va fi deschisă de Mohammad Hadi Mogoei și Ciprian Baciu, cu un concert de muzică persană, iar atmosfera va fi completată de seturi susținute de DJ tineri din culturi diferite, care vor aduce pe scenă ritmuri variate și energii noi.
