Member Spotlight! Please lift Rev. Helen Lindsey in prayer (pictured on Right). She has been unable to be as active in ANC's events because of serious health issues. Please lift Priscilla Stowe in prayer.(Pictured on left). She was in a car accident, and she is now dealing with serious pain from the injuries. Action NC misses these two Senior Warriors and needs them both back on the battlefield. The battlefield we're all strategically fighting.

Charlotte deserves guardrails before more large-scale data centers move forward by right. Last night, Council unanimously moved forward with a public hearing and potential 150-day pause after I called for temporary protections so we can study the impacts, engage the public, and put thoughtful standards in place. This is not anti-growth. It’s responsible planning. Residents deserve answers about water usage, noise, energy demand, and neighborhood impacts BEFORE approvals become permanent. #CharlotteNC #CLTCC #ResponsibleGrowth #DataCenters

After the immigration raids at the end of last year, @action.nc called all #charlottenc creatives to come together and respond. What came out of that was We Are the Web, a new Action NC committee formed to respond to the aftermath of Operation Charlotte's Web. Last week, for May Day weekend, @clt_boom invited us to have a table in solidarity with the May 1 workers and immigrants march. So @drewfosterstudio organized a table to talk to people about the initiative and recruit more people. Check out this amazing WE ARE THE WEB piece he is working on! More photos of WATW creatives and their works coming soon! We invite more Charlotte creatives to join the movement! As we all know, art and culture are always at the forefront of all successful movements! To join the effort, PM @action.nc or @hectorvacacruz ! #seeingvoices #communityunheard #artasresistance #artivism Isn't this

The city manager just proposed the 2027 budget. Most people won’t read it— but it will impact your daily life. From public safety… to traffic… to housing… to potential cost increases. 👀 Swipe to see what’s in it. 📣 This isn’t final yet—public input is coming. 💬 Do you agree with these priorities? #Charlotte #CityBudget #CLT #WhatsHappening

We want a public hearing, but a narrow majority of the Charlotte City Council is denying the public access and input. Demand a moratorium from those who are blocking public input! #ncpol

East Side love all day, every day. Thank you to all of our partners for making May Day 2026 such an incredible event: the organizing team who spent months preparing, the small businesses who showed up to feed the community, everyone who marched, and every worker—on the East Side and beyond—whose labor keeps this city running. We were proud to highlight why Central Avenue is the heart of our city’s worker and immigrant communities. This energy, this passion, this refusal to accept the status quo is forcing Charlotte to finally recognize that it needs to work more for its people than for its institutions. The times are changing, and we’re excited to have a front row seat 🌞 #eastclt #mayday #visiteastland #clt #clteats
