These absolute legends are sailing around the world performing mind-blowing acrobatics ⛵️ But it's not just for show, they're using art to crack open conversations about climate solutions. 🤩 I literally got goosebumps watching them perform. There's something about seeing humans push physical boundaries while advocating for planetary ones that hits different. 🇦🇼 Here's what the crew shared after their 2-month stay on the island: "Aruba captivated us with its natural beauty and warmhearted people. However, we witnessed firsthand the serious challenges this paradise faces from overtourism - among the most significant we've encountered in our journey. The island is struggling with untreated wastewater affecting beaches, waste management issues impacting mangroves, and local residents being displaced as tourism development expands. 🌱 What gives us hope despite these urgent challenges are the local initiatives like the Land Back movement, @Scubblebubbles , @PlasticBeachParty , @ArubaConservationFoundation , and @StichtingRancho . These organizations are raising awareness and implementing solutions and showing what's possible when communities unite to protect their home. 🩵 The island showed us what's possible when locals reclaim their narrative and protect what matters most. Aruba dushi tera - we're cheering for your journey toward a regenerative future that honors both your people and this precious ecosystem." 🤝 Want to support this incredible project? Your contribution helps them continue sailing, performing, and connecting communities worldwide. #positiveimpactsundays #climateactivism #circusart #sustainabletravel #changemakers

A story starts here, in the woods in spring. With a bursting bud of a question: “Can we braid back connections into the fabric of our imagination?” To answer this question we need to start at a very particular place. Roaming through your childhood backyard, local forest or park, your body collapses underneath a giant tree, and your gaze drifts together with your imagination up through the branching canopy. Isn’t this what we need? Isn’t this what it means to belong? In Acting for Climate we have for the last 4 years been working with this vision, we have discovered that the story that started at our childhood tree goes much deeper - back in time, and into our imaginary landscapes of what it means to be a human. We follow the thread, with the detours of a human civilization gone astray, and end back underneath the branching canopy. You are invited to follow, walking this journey with us, as we through artistic means explore our connection to the tree. And we promise we will convene together underneath a tree before the summer has ended.

March 2025 recap ✨ March kept us in Aruba longer than planned, and we couldn’t be more grateful! ✨ From amazing expeditions with Luvaldi to connecting with the island's culture, it’s been a transformative month. However, it hasn’t all been sunsets. We’ve spent time observing the environmental challenges Aruba faces due to extractivism. It’s a powerful reminder that our mission withis not just about moving art—it’s about moving consciences. 🌬️🎨 The journey continues. Sailing is about remembering to use our senses. As we are sailing the world - how does the world see us? Are the dolphins as excited for our company, as we are when they visit? When does the wind and waves become so clear that we automatically understand each other? Will there ever be a day where the sunset does not take our breath away? We are super grateful to @dr_walter who keep us safe in our journey around the world, as we meet wonder upon wonder. Aruba recap time! 🇦🇼✨ But, how is it to be a frontline activist in a small island society? What is challenging in Aruba — and what brings hope? And what actually happened? 🌊 Check the video for a glimpse into our meeting with Aruba, through the lens of Currents. From joining forces with local activists to our incredible visit at KIA prison, we dived into the island's heart to understand its journey. Impressions from Bocas Del Toro: 1. Mangrove training studio (if you don’t love mangroves yet, search up their importance) 2. Caribbean bird feeder 3. Our view in all it’s colours 4. The moon always watching over Yggdrasil, our boat 5. Charting the unknown to come - the big, big blue 6. Can anyone recognise the design and owner of this tattoo?? This week, we are both continuing prepping for the Pacific and for shows this weekend, Lucho arrived, we foraged jackfruit, star fruits, water apple, bananas, breadfruit and coconuts, and it’s been raining cats and dogs. We need it to stop raining soon, or otherwise all our mould cleaning efforts are going to go to waste… #junglelife #sailingcircus #mangrove #handstand #oahs
