First time for everything happened today. I was about 18 feet away, left it short out of the hand, looked down in disgust and then heard some shock from my card mates. Low and behold, my disc is "supported by the basket", so I "made" my birdie putt!
I'm not a hard putter, and the disc isn't super soft, but I'll take it!
@peter_geniac and I got partnered up tonight for the final doubles putting league this season, with $1000 added cash courtesy of @lennyboybrewingco !
We were the 8th and last seed in, thanks to a 1st round bye since there was an odd number of teams 😜
We got some sweet revenge on the one team we lost to in the regular games, and then in the semis I think there were only 3 missed putts.
Then in the finals we played against a tough pair of pros in Kyle Krieckhaus and Aaron Fruendt. Peter only missed two putts in the finals and we got $350 each!!!
Thank you @sobergoodtime and @scorpiondiscgolf for running putting league for the second year. I had a great year at putting league despite being in a putting slump recently, winning 5 times this season. Feels good to win the final one of the season!!!

Well, yesterday was a big accomplishment!
I won my first B tier tournament down at Dry Creek.
Big shout out to my 2nd round shorts! They helped turn things around for me. 😁
I started round 1 with 3 straight birdies, then was back to even 12 holes later. It was frustrating as the bogies were avoidable and I missed very gettable birdies. An eagle on 18 helped me escape the bad headspace. I was 9th after the first round.
I won't bore you with more details but it was up and down.
I didn't check the leaderboard until the final hole. I was about to throw a roller around a blind corner lined with thick woods. I was up 2 strokes and 2nd place had 1 hole left. I erred on the side of caution and went with a more conservative throw and finished with a par to win!
One of the biggest things that stands out to me about this win was the support afterwards. Not many sports the guy you beat greets you with a smile and a high five, or people who weren't even at the event message you and congratulate you. It speaks to this community around me and how I portray myself as a part of it.
It means a lot that people are just as happy for my success as I am.

@unccdiscgolf put up a temp course on campus over the weekend so I had to go play!
The campus is looking beautiful this Spring and so is a win.
Rough start to the round but @keaganvang told me to lock in so I did.
August was along for the ride and had a couple courtesy violation outbursts but otherwise was pretty chill. Could have used more puffs and less puff dust.
The video is hole 18. I had victory basically secured so wanted to try and cash in on the Ace bounty. That hill was no joke with a 30lb toddler!

Well, had a pretty successful morning out at the Saturday Singles League hosted by @discdaddy
I hit the tower on 9 and definitely didn't miss a 15 footer on 21.
I always love playing at Bailey Road Park. Each shot out there has become muscle memory at this point. Even with some extra wind today I was able to shoot my personal best round.
Going forward , I will be hosting a weekly tournament at Bailey 😄
