Not sure what to write, so I’ll just start.
I’ve been going about my normal days… randomly laughing, then tearing up right after. Still asking myself did that really happen?
I just won the DGPT Elite Series+ Barbasol Open.
15 years since my last Elite win.
In that time, I had chances… a lot of them. And a lot of heartbreak. Years where I didn’t even sniff a lead card. A season where I missed 9 straight cashes. Hearing people say I was done, washed, never that good.
Some of it I brushed off. Some of it hurt.
But I never stopped believing even when it got hard to.
This sport gave me everything… and also tested me in ways I can’t explain. Deep down, I knew I was still a champion. I just hadn’t proven it.
Until now.
Standing on that playoff putt, I felt calm. No nerves. Just peace.
The wait was over.
All the close calls, doubt, and pain… gone. Just relief.
Thank you God for the journey.
Sarah, none of this happens without you. I love you.
Reyna, you were out there every day with me. In the offseason This is yours too.
