Crafted light, scaled for impact | Nike Fountain Gate
There’s a certain confidence that comes with a space like this.
Nike Fountain Gate delivers at scale. An expansive 1136sqm retail environment designed to draw people in and keep them moving.
Brilliantly designed by ACRD, the space reflects a broader evolution of Nike retail- immersive, dynamic and deeply considered in how customers experience it.
As part of a major national rollout, it’s been a privilege to contribute to a series of flagship Nike environments delivered across Australia- each one raising the bar for what retail can be. A genuine thank you to Mathew Beaver and the RETAILORS Pacific team for trusting us to bring lighting to life for Nike. 💡
Lighting sets the tone from the outset. A bold, luminous storefront creates a strong sense of arrival- drawing customers in from the first glance.
Inside, everything is dialled in- every lighting element intentionally placed to shape a seamless customer experience. Product is consistently illuminated and clearly resolved from every angle, with nothing left in shadow.
Layered ambient and accent lighting guides the journey- defining zones, highlighting key moments and bringing focus to new releases and hero product.
The result is a space that feels intuitive, energised and easy to move through, even at this scale.
Clean. Dynamic. Unmistakably Nike.

The new Westfield Liverpool store represents this next chapter for Elite Eleven. The space is a direct response to the values and aspirations of the Elite Eleven community.
The design fuses super-modern materials with a refined spatial language that carefully balances light, acoustics, and texture. FAB ceiling elements enhance openness and illumination, while black acoustic panels within the fitting rooms create intimacy and comfort.

Lighting the joy of discovery | Active Baby Co, Miranda
At Active Baby Co’s new Miranda store, every detail has been designed to celebrate curiosity, movement, and the moments families share together.
Created by the talented team at ACRD — Chris, Yanah and Emma — the space brings the brand’s playful yet considered spirit to life: warm, intuitive and full of heart.
As ACRD founder Anthony Hoffman describes it, this is a family-friendly environment shaped by colour, texture and flow — where exploration feels effortless and both babies and adults feel at home.
Our lighting design builds on that feeling. A layered scheme balances functionality with ambience, ensuring products are beautifully illuminated while maintaining a soft, welcoming glow. Adjustable recessed downlights provide even, glare-free light across circulation areas and displays, while angled fittings highlight branded signage and feature walls, gently guiding attention through the space.
A neutral 3500K colour temperature delivers just the right balance of warmth and brightness — creating a fresh, natural feel while maintaining excellent colour rendering for product display.
The result: a space that feels bright, calm and full of life — reflecting the genuine care and joy at the heart of the Active Baby Co brand. We loved lighting this beautiful store! 💡✨

We’re thrilled to light up two new Mad Mex locations back to back - Emporium and The Glen.
Unmistakenly Mad Mex, ACRD’s design is high impact and high energy – every little detail carefully considered to enhance the customer experience. The lighting has been designed to match the energy and works to amplify the bright and inviting space. We selected our Carina and Draco downlights and concealed LED profile, to create warmth, ensure the working spaces are well lit and functional, and to highlight the detailed design elements, that have been executed brilliantly by @trustprojectsau 💡✨

Flagship illuminated | Elite Eleven, Chadstone
From inception, to construction, to the finished product – a dynamic and high impact retail experience.
We have loved and are grateful to be part of bringing the Elite Eleven brand to life in retail and illuminating the exceptional design by ACRD.
Delivering for a flagship, our custom lighting design combined a forward-thinking approach, using a dynamic mix of two colour temperatures and presenting an innovative and geometric design that feels both modern and energetic.
Deep thought and care were given to changerooms, a space we understand is such an important and personal space for customers and one that can play a significant role in customer behaviour and conversion. We created lighting in the changerooms that is extremely welcoming and flattering for the customer, highly functional and all whilst being energy efficient. 💡 Thank you @eliteeleven for trusting us with the lighting of your stand-out stores and to our project partners @acrd.design and @nrg_projects 11 stores and counting. Exciting times ahead.
