Hi, it’s me — Thom 👋
I’ve been performing at weddings for 19 years. Yes, since I was just 𝘧𝘪𝘷𝘦 years old (for the mathematicians among you 😉).
Now, meet 𝓒𝓞𝓞𝓛 — a new band with a big mission.
Truth is, after years of playing at wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions, I saw a pattern with evening entertainment… Too many bands were scruffy, cheesy, and unenthusiastic.
Then I went and studied music. I met hoards of insanely talented players — the kind who live and breathe music — but said they’d never play weddings because they thought it would squash their creative soul 👀 🤷♂️
Well… I had a vision 💡
What if we flipped that?
What if we brought the artistry, energy, and cool factor of real musicianship to the wedding world — without the cringe, without the cheese, just pure vibe?
That’s how COOL was born.

We love what we do! What can I say, we started performing because playing music really is so much fun.
It’s no less fun now than my first ever gig (@courtmoorschool battle of the bands circa 2003) though I’d get just a little more nervous back then 😉
