This week, during Construction Safety Week, I had the opportunity to join Taft Electric at the San Pedro High School job site for an important training on active shooter and bomb threat response.
From classroom discussion to full team engagement, today was a powerful reminder that safety goes beyond PPE and procedures. It’s about awareness, communication, and having a plan when it matters most.

What an incredible turnout at the 2025 NECA Safety Expo hosted by IBEW Local 11/ETI in Commerce, CA! Acme Construction Supply was proud to showcase the latest innovations, including a new women’s construction harness from FallTech, alongside our top vendors like Milwaukee, Klein, Lawless Group, Werner, Knaack, OEL, Southwire, MSA, Certified Safety, and Armor Guys. A huge thank you to Allen Sloan, Safety Director of IBEW/NECA, for organizing an outstanding event. We’re honored to be part of this annual tradition and can’t wait for next year’s expo!
