National Work Zone Awareness Week is April 20–24, 2026, and it’s an important reminder that safety doesn’t stop when the cones go out.
Every day, construction crews and roadway workers put themselves in harm’s way to keep our infrastructure moving and our communities connected. This week is about slowing down, staying alert, and respecting work zones so everyone can make it home safely at the end of the day.
