For tonight’s event, we have something special for you: Live visuals from the gifted and original Ruriko Tsukishima @sleepyomochi . Ruriko’s a liquid light artist, bassist, and event organizer from Japan currently based in Aarhus. Leveraging the groove and simultaneity honed through her own musical experience, she works on visual expressions that build and expand upon the classic psychedelia of liquid light from 1960’s. She has created vibrant and colorful landscapes alongside dance music like Donna Leake and Jane Fitz, improvisational bands like Yaryu, psychedelic rock bands like Tō Yō, and numerous electronic music acts of all kinds.

This Saturday, ACME are once again ready to open our doors to an event with a lineup that will rock your world: Gavnlig Danish-Icelandic producer & DJ Andrea Hildursdóttir, seen here performing at Drift Radio, has been taking stages by storm, winning over audiences with her infectious combination of technical finesse, deep musical knowledge and playful selection. Alongside her behind‑the‑scenes work, her uncompromising studio output has led to numerous releases on local and international labels alike. Initially drawn to electronic music by the gravitational pull of heavyweight sound system music, she has spent years studying the wide-ranging spectrum of techno as a vessel for her percussion-forward sensibilities. For the event this Saturday, @jenspaldam is playing an improvised set on his unique homecrafted modular synthesizer. Jens is one of the core members of ACME. He has been DJing and arranging electronic music events since before he was old enough to buy alcohol in the bar of the events he co-hosted. For the past fifteen years, he has turned his focus to producing and performing live and have brought his modular equipment to stages in Berlin, Tokyo and Copenhagen where he lived for twenty years before relocating to Aarhus three years ago. Warming up to our two headliners are ACMEs very own Jens Paldam and Mads Rehl. Both veterans in the techno game ready to bring the noise. Mads Rehl For over fifteen years, Mads Rehl has been a part of the Danish techno scene. He began Djing in Copenhagen, playing everything from spontaneous techno gatherings to organized club events, including a 4 year residency at the iconic Culture Box in Copenhagen. Jens Paldam Is an old school crate digger always on the lookout for tracks that will resonate in your memory long after the event has ended. “To me, rather than finding the most energy dense bangers, it’s more about finding tracks that form a storyline and bring about a mood”. Viv IP is once again gracing ACME with her deep haunting grooves. She is a central driving force in the techno scene of Aalborg and have been a dear friend of ACME since our humble beginning. Vivien’s DJ sets are immersive journeys - intimate, mysterious, and irresistibly kinetic. With a storyteller’s instinct and a flair for smoothly changing a flows and energies, she is sketching abstract openings of her sets, igniting curiosity and awakening of imagination, then fluidly evolving from crispy minimal textures to tightly wound grooves, pulls the crowd into deep hypnotic motion, to reach the immersive depths of psychoactive techno. Vivien brings an experience that feels both mesmerizing and deeply personal - even for the most seasoned of dancefloor explorers. All four of us ACME organisers, have experienced Evvolita perform at different events and we were all blown away by how she could improvise live creating music on the fly rivalling the best of DJs.
