Just a few weeks left to apply for our unique TRESOR jewellery fair, in the heart of the wonderful @cornwall_museum this October.
Following on from our succesful fair last October, the theme this year is Myths and Legends.
Get some inspiration from the wonderful exhibition at the Museum, or tell us about any myths and legends which fascinate you, through the jewellery you make...
We welcome contemporary jewellers working with precious metals, base metals, found materials, textiles: any contempory makers.
We're looking for original collections, which respond to our theme of Myths and Legends.
At this stage you can apply with images of representative work, and tell us what you are going to make if your application is successful.
Entry is open to any jewellers working in Cornwall: if you are successful you would need to join @acj.org.uk to exhibit at the fair

@laurapolleyjewellery Granite Stud Earrings have just been added to my website.
They have been made at one of my local beaches where I have used rocks as my tools to create a raw granite texture on to silver, finished in my home studio.

I've been making all sorts- but have periods of being an incredibly shy poster where the idea of showing anything is mortifying.
I've been working with a wider range of materials and processes and deep in this theme of Sirens/beclawed mermaids with giant fish slung over their shoulders ( occasionally laying waste to the Patriarchy because- why not?)
I hate showing pictures sometimes especially when Im trying new things with the invariable fails/non comprehension of how new materials and processes work.
Anyway. I'm at Form May 15th, 16th and 17th
With the angry mermaids in tow
It's a fantastic event with an excellent line up of Artists and Makers, Music, Workshops, Food and free entry

Calling all Jewellery Graduates: Cotton to Graphene
We are thrilled to announce the open call for the graduate exhibition is now open.
Cotton to Graphene is an exhibition open to UK jewellers graduating from 2021-2026 in celebration of Manchester’s inaugural Jewellery Week.
We are working in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University where the exhibition will take place during Manchester Jewellery Week 10th -16th September.
This fantastic opportunity to exhibit will give a platform for graduates transitioning from academic study to professional practice, supporting visibility, connection and engagement with new audiences.
Cotton to Graphene is curated by Sarah O Hana @ohanasarah_art (Manchester Jewellery Week Committee) and guest curator Rebecca Skeels @skeels_from Birmingham School of Jewellery.

Young Designers at AUTOR is a launch platform for those at the beginning of their journey, but already with a clear direction.
If you are under 26 and working in
contemporary jewellery, this is your opportunity to exhibit, sell, and be discovered within an international context.
Selected designers will be offered a free exhibition space as part of the Young Designers platform.
Selection is based on coherence, vision, concept, and mastery.
It is not enough for the work to be beautiful, it also needs meaning.

Open Call | ENJOIA’T Contemporary Jewellery Awards 2026
Applications are now officially open for the ENJOIA’T Contemporary Jewellery Awards 2026 an exceptional opportunity to showcase innovative voices in contemporary jewellery.
Selected artists will present their work at the prestigious Disseny Hub Barcelona, alongside a feature on the Hannah Gallery online platform in collaboration with Klimt02.
Two outstanding winners (Professional and Student) chosen by the Enjoia’t jury, will be awarded a complimentary stand at CONTEMPORANIA Barcelona High Craftsmanship 2027.
In addition, Alliages Gallery will independently select two participants to join its international exhibition circuit, offering further global exposure.
