She’s held various roles in food and hospitality for over a decade, from cooking on the line to managing special projects and menu development. Since 2023, she has worked in whole-animal butchery. Her Pretend Restaurant menu is a tangy, savory, and comforting interpretation of Chinese-Hainanese cuisine, featuring ingredients lovingly hand-carried back to New York. There will be vegan/vegetarian options!
