2nd Anniversary Installation: Overdrive
When game rules bleed into reality, every tactic becomes art.
Starting with Valorant’s core narrative—Radianite and Overdrive Device—we deconstructed and reshaped them into a futuristic monument. The installation’s surface is clad in geometric triangular matrices, while the surrounding Radianite array pulses like surging energy, encapsulating high-powered Radianite within. This design visually stretches the space into a deeper, more distant future.
For the sensory experience, we rebuilt the sound design around the Overdrive Device’s countdown, syncing it with the breathing rhythm of light, shadow and structure. The result? A tense, breath-holding ”critical moment“ vibe.
This isn’t just a physical representation of game elements—it’s Acéphale’s attempt to bring digital storytelling into real space. Here, players can touch, hear and feel the unique energy and tension that defines Valorant.

Taking into account the brand style of ROARINGWILD, the concept of ”organic matter, merge, combine, control“ is also similar to the concept of ”Acéphale“ that we have been trying to express. From the natural matter of the world system to the material heterogeneity of the future machine, from macrocosm to microcosm, from chaos to order, we have created a formal organisation of multiple mechanical fragments, reorganising them in their differences.
Combined with the design function, this has led to our final installation concept: In the ’heterogeneity‘ and ’diversity‘ of the natural world, different forms and elements mix and interact to form a system of complexity. This group of installations deconstructs the structure of the system through mechanised heterogeneity and diversity, creating a ’formal organisation of wholeness‘ within the interplay of ’formal diversity‘ and ’material heterogeneity‘. By mapping the natural world, the mechanism is constantly reorganised in differentiation, breaking down the traditional ’centre-edge‘ and ’hierarchical‘ structures to achieve a ’non-centric‘ centre, a ’non-hierarchical‘ hierarchy.
