A year ago, I went under the knife to fix a Haglund’s Deformity — bone removed, bursa removed, Achilles spared and cleaned up as best as possible.
Recovery hasn’t been linear, and I still don’t always know exactly where I stand. But I do know this: I’m showing up, doing the work, and keeping the outlook open and positive.
