Shout out to the mighty Scutigera Coleoptrata, aka ‘House Centipede,’ for being such a viscerally creepy bad bitch, gorgeous in design whether ya like it or not. My costume was so big I could only fit 10 pairs of legs onto my back pack armature, 5 PAIRS SHORT of the real thing. No wonder they fast as fuck in the shadowy corners. Ya know, they’re insectivores that eat the super pesty pests like flies & roaches? Give’m a hand… just one time 👏🏼👏🏼

Couple months ago, homie Brett @deepglens invited me to hop on a rad bill at @icehousempls , and I cooked up some new music for it, which I’d been dying to do for a lonnnng time. I pushed myself, tried hard- and navigated a ton of my BS shadow shit baggage about music/creative expression the whole way. Like, worked down to the last minute before heading to soundcheck. Got to share it last week with a buncha besties in the house.. It was all fresh af, a gangly foal wobbling knees, paint still wet- super thrilling. I’m proud of myself and grateful for the opportunity. Will be further developing this new stuff, I wanna sharpen up. 🌱🐺
Thanks Brett B & @ajabaum for the solid last-minute mix feedback before the show, thanks to my dear sweet homies for comin thru to support, and thanks to my sweetheart Kaya for plopping their korg minilogue in my lap right when I needed a big key. 🗝️
And I did buzz my head :) in preparation for making/holding/owning new stuff! When you need to see yourself in a new light, capable of reaching spaces you didn’t think you could, sometimes changing the frame on the picture helps kick off a ton of necessary (un)learning. 🐣✨

I first heard the music of Rush when I was 17, working in a cool kitchen in Galena, IL - and I thought: ‘😖 what in the %#+&ing HELLLLLLL is this wacky shit.’ It took me a couple years to circle back.. when I left home and moved up here to MN, I borrowed Moving Pictures from the library and something clicked. 🤯
And now I endeavor Geddy’s ambitious melodies of Neil’s earnest-ass lyrics in a Rush tribute band led by Chris Bates, and it’s a rad full circle. Cory Healey on drums, Toivo Hannigan on guitar, Cory Eischen on keys. Vid clip is from our debut last spring at Icehouse (🎥 @essence_arcadia )

Out of concern for everyone's safety, we have postponed tomorrow evening's shows with Aby Wolf and Eric Mayson from Sunday, March 15, 2026 to Monday, April 27, 2026. All tickets purchased for the original date will be honored and have automatically been transferred to the new date.
Please note there are multiple seatings (i.e., 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.) and ticket tiers (i.e., seated and bar/standing) for this show. Your ticket is still valid for the seating and ticket tier you originally selected. For example, if you purchased a 6:30 p.m. seated ticket for March 15, you now hold a 6:30 p.m. seated ticket for April 27.

Eric and Aby first crossed paths over a pre-show plate of takoyaki at a Manhattan izakaya in 2013; Aby was on tour with Dessa, Eric was on tour with Caroline Smith, and both artists were getting their road legs in supporting roles. Countless collaborations later, Aby and Eric link up onstage to support one another in an effervescent kinship, holding the room rapt throughout their progressive duo set: a dynamic body of music borne of a marathon fever-dream writing session inspired by MacLean's triune brain model of vertebrate forebrain evolution, the deliciously trippy sci-fi eco-horror film Annihilation, and tequila.
