Gothenburg based ABSTRS born in San Diego, US, raised in Stockholm and is one of the co-founders and residents of underground collectives Tekla as well as Block8, while also running his own raves under Obalans. His style can be be described as groovy and face pace, combined with psychedelic elements and euphoric soundscapes. He has made early releases on Lett Records and Fallen Metropolis, but more recently on Stockholm based Shivers label and Berlin imprint Front Left Records. His first vinyl release Deviate EP just dropped last fall on Gothenburg UG label Streck.
