What makes a good dance floor?
Always, the crowd. When people dance like no one is watching! That happens in a safe space, where everyone is comfortable and respectful to each other. And of course, driving, exiting music, and a great sound system.

What is the best play time?
I like the beginning of peak, something like 1-3. But a good closing is pure magic too.
·
What was the idea behind your mix?
Lately I’ve been exploring what I can weave into a foundation of groovy techno. I keep coming back to the music I used to listen to before I started playing, back when I was living in London: speed garage, 2000s tech house, bassline, even grime. Berlin shaped me a lot in terms of where I landed on the techno spectrum. I also used to be really into trance, but I’m slowly growing out of it. So I think this set is kind of a test of what my next sound could be, while still staying true to its core: movement, tension, momentum.
·
Tell us about a magical club moment.
Last summer in Athens, I played a 70s blues track as a final closing, and people started to dance in pairs, kiss and hug.
·
Why do we need club culture?
Because life will be incomplete without it. I think dancing at night is a very shamanic tradition that humanity had for centuries, like getting together and dancing around the fire to the sound of the drum. So people did it, and will continue doing it.
·
How did you start playing music and what drives you?
I discovered electronic music in my late teenage years, and fell in love with it. I started producing before playing, it really fascinated me how these sounds weave a story together. Naturally, I also went deep into researching music, and started to collect tracks, and some records. Then, I was living in Kyiv during corona times, and started throwing semi-legal events with a few friends. The scene there was really growing at the time, and it picked up. So I think a “proper DJing” would start from there.
