You heard the Doc! We discovered that fresher cann*bis samples contain higher levels of heptanal, an aldehyde and high-odor aroma compound, associated with living plant tissue.
This finding suggests that heptanal could serve as a biomarker for determining optimal curing times, helping growers ensure their cann*bis is neither over-cured nor under-cured.
While weāre still early in our research, weāre excited about the potential implications of this discovery for enhancing the end consumerās experience with freshness.
