Working on a painting every day until you almost breakā¦ thatās what makes it a masterpiece. Iām working with this piece of art until it gets to where I believe it can go. Itās a strange process. Each new addition covers up something older and more developed, but the flow gets smoother. More information vs less. Opening up space for the viewer to rest yet keep them excited. Thatās the dance.. I have a break from my studio coming up, yet Iāll be studying this picture as Iām away, always patient for it to open up and show me the next move.
