Just the start of the season
I donāt get to take photos often, but when I do, I get a reminder of why I got involved in this fun creative process of capturing moments.
I was fortunate enough to tag along VFC and capture the emotions of the game for the Canadian Championship @whitecapsfc vs @vanfootballclub
I usually never need anything more than 200mm but for this game I was curious what can I do with a longer lens so I rented out a Sigma 150-600mm f5.0-6.3 which may not be the best in low light but got the job done with capturing photos from far away.
Really hard to choose few but saved my fav photo for the end :)

For the past two years, Iāve been lucky enough to travel all over Europe and Asia, life has constantly felt like itās been on a high note. But after graduating from UBC this spring, the realization hit deep, for the first time in my life, I didnāt know what Iād be doing this coming fall. It was a bit of a panicā¦ but the good kind.
Long story short, Iāve officially joined @pwhl__vancouver as a full time Team Video Production Manager.
Iām incredibly thankful for a lot of people that have supported throughout this journey and always added and elevated to my craft. I wouldnāt be able to pursue this path without their support.
I dont think 15 year old Gibi, who just moved to Canada, would believe he would one day work as a videographer professionally, or let alone be in creative industry. Nothing has ever really gone to plan, and thatās the beauty of it all. So let it be.
Ready to create some cool hockey history on the west coast, the ultimate canadian dream.
Oh and Iāll be switching to a Sony FX3, yall won.
