So I began this year challenging myself. Stepping into filmmaking has kicked me in the ass. I wanted to try directing and writing because of my parents and my partner. After visiting my indigenous community Haisla Nation. My mother told me the story of the Highway of Tears. Let's just say some stories you cannot just sing about. I thought I should make an album? Or write singles? But this story of my parents, of my culture and my people needed more. And building stories with someone you love has to be undoubtedly the most rewarding feeling @pupfilms BUT FIRST ITS BABY STEPSSS. I needed to prove to myself that I am even capable of creating a short film without losing too much hair😂. Now I understand why film takes so long hahahaha! But man is it ever worth it. To every single person who contributed, took the time during their holidays to be on this production. My heart and my gratitude goes to you. And now after wearing almost every hat, failing, trying, learning over and over again and standing on the shoulders of giants for guidance. We wrapped the film and are on to post production ❤️ Overall thrilled to share with you our debut short film Grief Goodbye. :) Wish me luck as I die in a editing room.

I've been working on this project since GONZO. 3 years of fighting to get this out. 3 years and these songs still hold a lot of frustrations and realizations... Therapy, faith, love, anger, depression - It's all manically in there in its rawest form. No filter. This is a testament to the ones who never give up on themselves. This is a love letter to the ones who never gave up on me🤎. I finally and so proudly give you my darling 'DALI' the end of a chapter - JULY 4th - 9 SONGS*
