March 14th with the boys @hidhir.h@winchicky and kel on bass.
We’re really just jamming and having fun here, figuring out chords as we go along, throwing in solo ideas. But importantly, we understood the dynamics of our instruments, and we knew how to read the room. Definitely a challenge to play minimally volume wise and fighting the urge to not go mad. But that’s the skill isn’t it? Play as little as possible while still being able to have fun and express yourself musically!
Hope to have more of these soon!
PERSEVERENCE
“Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of the hard work that you’ve already done”
Growing up I’ve always been involved in sports, from canoeing to running, from boxing to Brazilian Jiu jitsu.
I’m no champion or gold medalist, in fact, as far as I can recall, I’ve always gotten 2nd place, haven’t really peaked or reached the top, even in BJJ competition, when I’m just one mistake away from winning the fight. And I think this is quite a constant theme in every aspect of my life.
But you know what, being in that position helps me keep fighting, surviving and hoping, to be better, to strive, to keep going, and to be a better version of myself(not to the world) then yesterday. This is a knowledge that I always try to impart to my students, peers and elders. It’s more about your tenacity and your grit, than what others may have over you.
Music, BJJ, FnB has put me through the ring of fire, toss me up, double boiled and charcoaled grilled. But it’s no reason to tap, close up shop, toss my drumsticks. It’s a reason to keep PERSEVERING, to be a better version of who you are, yesterday.
Thank you to everyone who has been there throughout the stages, my coaches, peers, industry friends and old friends! CHEERS!
Had loads of b-rolls from our recent trip so i decided it deserves its own edit haha, but also, having way too much fun editing the footages as you can tell.

Thank you, to new friendships, old friendships strengthened, all through our love for the sport, food, drinks, and good times! Here’s to more!
Huge shoutout to all the FnB operators for feeding us, keeping us warm while it’s blizzarding outdoors
10 days of riding, 9 different trial maps both on and off piste, 9 boarders in total, exploring the vastness of wilderness in Japan’s north island. It’s been a wild ride lads!

In our books, a big part of what used to draw the creative crowd to Golden Mile Complex is @enclavebar.sg , owned and run by brothers Ritz (@abouritz ) and Rush Ang (@rushamc ), and their business partner Kimi Teng (@burnthatcvnt )
A favourite of the creative community for its live music, affordable yet artisanal cocktails, and unpretentious air. While the bar shuttered this October due to a surge in rent, its place as a big-hearted home for creatives lives on – and, as Ritz Ang puts it, “Let me assure you this: You haven’t heard the last of us!”.

It’s been a hot minute! Ok but TLDR
Needed time to process this period of my life as a new chapter begins. Thank you everyone who have been supporting and helping realise this vision, it was tough road, one of the hardest I had to endure, but here we are, at the finish line. With still a long long journey ahead, wanted to say that I’m grateful and blessed to have @enclavebar.sg , the experiences, the highs & lows, the friendships forged and endured.
Much love everyone! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
We’ve tried. This decision did not come lightly as a self-funded small business. After 4 heartfelt years of fostering endearing connections from Golden Mile Complex to Neil Road, Enclave Bar will be permanently closed from 25th October 2025.
Since opening, it has always been our mission to provide a safe space for diverse voices and cultural movements within Singapore. We’ve tried our best—celebrating individuality and inclusivity; supporting small scenes, artists and changemakers along the way. Unfortunately, the realities of rising operational costs, compliance overheads, stringent regulatory costs have rendered our business unsustainable. The relentless surge in commercial rent, high utility bills and maintenance to innovate have outpaced what we could bear in today’s market.
As we prepare to close, we are actively working to reconcile all accounts with our creditors and suppliers to be addressed fairly and promptly—that we will honor these commitments responsibly with full integrity.
The circumstances that we’re encountering is a part of a wider statistic; indicative of Singapore’s cultural landscape in independent venues and spaces. It is essential to not allow our collective memory to slip quietly into the past.
All events and programming will continue as planned, including upcoming announcements for future events till our closure date. Party and regular programming continues till then.
It has been incredibly humbling and inspiring to witness the creativity, conversations and camaraderie that’s blossomed within our walls. Thank you for sharing it with us, and thank you to the Ang family for the unwavering support!
We hope our legacy inspires others to create, gather, and build collective meaning. Enclave was always more than just a cocktail bar; it was a stage for possibility.
Four years ago, musician @abouritz opened @enclavebar.sg with a simple vision: to create a safe haven where any creative could feel at home. What started as one person’s response to the restrictions of COVID-19’s has become something much bigger.
✨ From breaking down pay-to-play schemes to hosting butoh performances, Enclave proves that venues can be more than just spaces – they can be communities. “I wanted to create a space where I’ll be the one to take the first step to get to know you”.
