Commissions have played a significant role in my development as an artist. While I continue working on my various series simultaneously, introducing assigned work diversifies my process and often opens new possibilities for my creativity. Therefore, I love art commissions and thrill working with interior designers, real estate agents and all art lovers. The process starts with reviewing and selecting or combining styles from my existing art series. I will then work with you and your design team at every step of making fresh art customized for your space. Please email [email protected] to schedule a meeting for art commissions.

Four floors of art history, one temporary stop. 📍 Sotheby’s @sothebys NYC pre-auction viewings are a reminder of how much incredible art lives in private collections. Seeing these Cubist, Modern, and Contemporary works in person before they go under the hammer is something else.

The Rift 🌌
In this piece from my Spirits series, hybrid media on 36x36 inch water media wood panel, I explore the delicate boundary between the tangible and the ethereal.
The central figure—a floating female bust—pairs a Greco-Roman head with an Azerbaijani jacket skirt. This fashion embodies “the rift” between the diverse cultural histories that shape my work.
Using a “musical” approach to line, I layer pigment print, watercolor, pastel, and ink to create these nature guardians.

Sunlight, shadows, and the beauty of the everyday. ☀️✨ There is something so captivating about the way light dances through the trees and plays with the shapes around us. I spent the afternoon capturing these moments, finding inspiration in the simple patterns and textures of my neighborhood.
These photos are just the beginning! I’ll be using them as the foundation for my hybrid-media work, blending analog and digital processes to create something entirely new. Stay tuned to see how these fleeting shadows transform into art. 🎨📸

Dawn from my Spirits series is selected by Jowita Wyszomiska, the independent juror of the month, for the May 2026 Open Exhibit @theartleague .
Join us for the opening reception on Friday, May 8, 6:30–8:00 pm and come earlier to check out my studio (5), a few steps from The Art League Gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art Center.
Exhibit Duration: May 6–June 7, 2026
About the selected piece:
Dawn, a layered watercolor and pigment print on a 24×24-inch wood watermedia panel, is the fifth painting from my Spirits series selected for a monthly exhibit at The Art League. Two previous pieces from this series received Best in Show and Honorable Mention awards and were sold by The Art League.
The “Spirits” series fuses figurative and landscape painting through a musical approach—a unique technique employing dense, filament-like lines (melody) and parallel striations (harmony), reminiscent of intaglio or etching. I hope to emphasize environmental awareness with this approach. The veiled figures, rendered in neutral tones, contrast with the warm landscape, symbolizing the ethereal emergence of nature’s guardians and underscoring humanity’s inherent connection to and responsibility for the Earth.

A perfect day for art! 🌿 So glad I made the trip to the Cade Center for Fine Arts Gallery for the opening of Green.
With only 42 pieces selected from over 400 submissions, this national juried exhibit is a masterclass in curation by Roberto C. Ferrari (Columbia University). 🎨
The best part? Exploring it all with my dear friend @rosemarycovey . It was such a treat to meet the curator and so many talented artists from across the country!

Blue Frog from my Indoor Pond collection, Architectural series, is selected for the AACC Annual National Juried Exhibit, Green at the Cade Center for Fine Arts Gallery, Arnold, Maryland, juried by Roberto C. Ferrari, Curator of Art Properties, Columbia University.
Join us for the Opening Reception, Wednesday, April 29, 5-7 pm
Duration: April 28–July 14
About the selected piece:
My Indoor Pond collection, consisting of small layered watercolor on pigment print pieces (16-18″ wide), is a study of boundaries: where solid structures meet liquid depths and airy light. I use these states of matter to bridge the gap between abstract shapes and familiar forms, letting the concept dictate the movement of color across the canvas. While the series is grounded in a deep, atmospheric palette of greens, it is defined by its “interruptions”—shocks of warm light and cool blues. Here, the solitary blue frog acts as a vibrant anchor, emerging from the dominant greens to breathe life into the composition.
