Het woonzorgconcept in Donderberg is gerealiseerd tot een warme, toekomstbestendige leefomgeving waar Bewoners met verschillende etnische achtergronden samen wonen. Ook is er ruimte voor partners, zodat mensen samen kunnen blijven wonen ondanks een toenemende zorgvraag.
Het duurzame complex, gerealiseerd in moderne houtskeletbouw, vormt een eigentijds en innovatief woonzorgcomplex!

A building that gives children something to hold onto and inspires professionals to collaborate from one shared vision.” Oscar Vos on the new Integrated Child and Expertise Centre ‘de Zevensprong’ in Hoorn, the Netherlands.
This school year marks the opening of the centre, designed by KRFT. The building brings together 5 former locations for special (primary) education into one, sustainable environment for learning, care, childcare and sport. With nearly 7,000 m², it is one of the largest timber primary schools in the Netherlands and meets the Paris Proof threshold values. The result is a future-proof building that combines circular construction with a healthy learning environment.

🎓 𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗜𝗜 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁! Op 23 oktober vond in Eindhoven de kick-off plaats van het nieuwe TOP II-programma bij Oosterhoff. Een inspirerende bijeenkomst waar deelnemers uit verschillende werkmaatschappijen elkaar ontmoetten en samen met Gerard Doos, CEO van Oosterhoff, een eerste inkijk kregen in het programma.
TOP II is een leiderschapsopleiding op maat, ontwikkeld in samenwerking met @tsmbusinessschool , speciaal voor medewerkers met 8 tot 12 jaar ervaring. In de komende 18 maanden verdiepen zij zich in persoonlijk leiderschap, teamleiderschap en bedrijfskundige inzichten. Het programma is flexibel, actueel en sluit aan op de unieke ambities van Oosterhoff.
💡 Zoals Gerard Doos het verwoordde: “Al was het de laatste euro van Oosterhoff, dan zou ik die hieraan uitgeven.”
Want bij Oosterhoff geloven we dat de ontwikkeling van mensen de sleutel is tot de ontwikkeling van het bedrijf.

Competition #won! Together with @proofofthesum and a strong team of engineers and advisors, we have been selected to design the new Central Laboratory for Diagnostics and Research (#CLDR) at the Healthy Ageing Campus in #Groningen.
With ca. 30,000m², the CLDR will be one of the largest laboratory buildings in the Netherlands. Yet the design is not about size, but about scale, encounter, and connection. Three distinct gardens bring nature into the daily rhythm of research, while the open and inviting ‘connectoar’ becomes the building’s social heart, connecting all layers, functions, and users.
The CLDR brings fifty scattered research and diagnostic labs together in one efficient, future-proof home, largely built in timber. A high-tech environment where science, nature, and campus logic come together. We’re grateful for the trust and excited to take the next steps together with @umcgroningen and the full team.

The exoskeleton of Matchbox in Eindhoven, evoking oversized matchsticks, is taking shape. The 3D timber frame crafted from Azobè wood creates a rhythmic structure with expressive joints and detailed connections. Merging structure and façade, the prefabricated timber system highlights craftsmanship, introducing material softness and human scale to its urban environment. With delivery scheduled for the end of October 2025, the building is now revealing its character, expressing a rational yet poetic design.

Under One Roof: A new Icon for @havenrotterdam !
We’re excited to share our design for the Port of Rotterdam Authority’s new building in the Eemhaven! With the building permit submitted, this project brings together offices, workshops, and storage under an innovative mass timber roof.
The roof serves as both a symbol and a practical feature—harvesting solar energy, collecting rainwater, and introducing space for new technologies like drones and wind turbines. Inside, the building’s social heart fosters collaboration through informal meeting spaces, while the technical heart supports port operations with areas for working on large equipments and loading of vehicles. Together, these hubs enhance team cohesion.
Warm timber interiors, large windows, and waterfront views create a natural, healthy environment for users.

De eerste sociale woontoren met een hybride houten constructie komt binnenkort in Haarlem 🌳
We ontwierpen het gebouw in CLT (kruislagenhout), wat CO2 opslaat en voldoet aan de eisen van het convenant houtbouw van de Metropoolregio Amsterdam, met maar liefst 57% biobased materialen – een belangrijke stap naar duurzaam wonen in de stad.
Bewoners en omwonenden dachten mee over het ontwerp van de openbare ruimte, die straks ruimte biedt voor balkons met uitzicht op de stad of polder. De half verdiepte parkeergarage verwerken we uit het zicht met taluds en een groen dak, waar bewoners, buurtgenoten en passanten straks wandelen, picknicken en elkaar ontmoeten op bankjes tussen bomen.
De toren biedt ruimte aan 100 sociale huurwoningen.

𝗩𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝗴 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗸 𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗿 𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝘇𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘂𝗿𝘁. 🏠🌳 Daarvoor woon je straks in de grote nieuwbouwwijk Hyde Park aan de rand van Hoofddorp. We ontwerpen Mayfair, een woonblok bestaande uit acht toekomstbestendige gebouwen en focussen daarin op inclusiviteit, identiteit en sociale cohesie.
Het wordt een sociaal blok waar buren elkaar ontmoeten en bewoners zich meteen thuis voelen. Dat doen we door ieder huis een eigen secret te geven in de entreehal. In ieder huis komen bewoners op een andere manier van de straat bij hun voordeur uit. Deze secrets vormen de identiteit van ieder gebouw.
