I am honoured to have been conferred the honorary Doctor of Arts by Myles Leadership University, yesterday. I dedicate it to all the creative minds in Nigeria and across Africa yearning to tell true stories that reflect our realities through their arts.
This will further strengthen my resolve to continue to create art, inspire and drive the growth of the African creative space leveraging our unique skills and drive for excellence. So help me God.

People are not more deserving of your humanity after they die. They were deserving of it the whole time but the deeply rooted hate in your lives no let una get sense.
There is a particular kind of peace that comes when you stop trying to force things to happen on a timeline you invented. The active kind of peace where you do the work, make the moves, show up consistently, and then release the outcome from the grip of your anxiety.
The person who enjoys something privately is increasingly considered odd. The experience that isn't documented is starting to feel incomplete to people. And somewhere in that shift, a generation is learning to relate to their own lives as content. To filter their joy before they've even felt it.
I don't know exactly where it ends. But I know the distance between who you are and who your page says you are is not a gap you can maintain forever without paying for it somewhere.
