Wondering what Day 1 looks like in Intensive Therapy? We perform a range of tasks to see how we can help each and every one of our kiddos. Check out Tanya working with Mason on his eval process! 💪 Tone - here we are seeing how tight his muscles are. 🦵 Range of Motion - gauging to see how flexible he is. 🧠Reflexes - checking to see how he reacts to certain stimulus. 🧘‍♂️ Sitting - asses how long he can stay seated. 📓 Review - look through the history of the patient. 🎯 Baseline - establish where we should start with goals in mind. 🕴️ TheraSuit - get suited up in the TheraSuit. 💪 Get to work - our therapists utilize exercises that target the kiddos goals. While these processes are generally followed, some modification will be used to tailor to each patients needs. Follow us to learn more about how we work with kiddos to reach and beat their goals! ✨ #tone #rangeofmotion #reflex #muscle #goals #therasuit #gettowork #intensivetherapy #intensivepediatrictherapy #abilityplustherapy

The power of Intensive Physical Therapy. 💪 During Mateo’s three-week session, every exercise was designed to challenge his patterns, build strength, and create more control through movement. 🕸️ Standing in the Spider Cage - Reaching to place the ball was working on dynamic postural control, coordination, and head control while encouraging forward flexion to break his extensor tone pattern. ⬇️ Squats in the Spider Cage - Building strength and control through full range while targeting terminal hip and knee extension and actively stretching hamstrings and countering withdrawal patterns. 🐾 Quadruped (Reflex Integration) - On all fours, lifting and lowering his head to a target then turning left and right is helping integrate reflexes and improve coordination between head and body movement. ⚡ Galileo Standing - Focusing on weight acceptance, midline alignment, and full-body activation to help him build the strength and endurance needed for standing, stepping, and transfers. Every movement is intentional. Every rep is building something bigger. This is how we turn effort into independence. 🙌 Way to go, Mateo! 💪 👉 Follow along to see how intensive therapy creates real progress! #intensivetherapy #intensivesuittherapy #therasuit #progress #abilityplustherapy

Creating something meaningful… with tools that make it possible. 🙌 For this Mother’s Day craft, three kiddos used the @functionalhand ® to paint, stamp, color, glue, and create—each in their own way, working toward their individual goals. 🎨 Maddie was painting with a brush to support grasp, control, and purposeful movement while creating something special. 🌼 Dom tried out stamping with markers to encouraging repetition, coordination, and engagement through a fun, creative task. 🖍️ Miles took on dot markers, glue, and writing to work on fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, and functional participation with hand-over-hand support to build independence. The functionalhand® helps provide: ✅ Improved grasp and release ✅ Increased participation in functional tasks ✅ More opportunities for independence ✅ Access to activities that might otherwise be challenging Because every child deserves the chance to create, participate, and be proud of what they make and the functionalhand® enables them do just that. ✨ Happy Mother’s Day to all of you Super Moms! 💐 Learn more at functionalhand.com 👉 Follow along to see how we turn therapy into meaningful moments. #mothersday #functionalhand #pediatricot #grasp #abilityplustherapy

That was the moment I knew… he got it. Not because he sat through a lesson. Not because he repeated it once. But because he understood it… and brought it home. At @nolimitsacademyofficial , learning isn’t passive. It’s engaging. It’s active. It’s built for how students actually learn. 🕺 Movement. 🔁 Repetition. 🤝 Connection. That’s how neurodevelopment happens, confidence grows, and learning sticks. This is what access looks like in real time—and it’s possible in any classroom or homeschool environment. 💬 🎙️ Watch the full conversation on the No Limits Podcast here: https://loom.ly/nHhRdlE or at the link in our bio. #nolimitspodcast #disabilityawareness #disabilityadvocacy #neurodivergentsupport #nolimitsmethod

This is what purposeful, Intensive Physical Therapy looks like. 💪 Every exercise in Ricky’s three-week session was designed to build strength, control, and the skills he needs to move safely through his environment. 💥 Sit-Ups + Reach - Core strengthening with a weighted bar with added rotation, controlled reaching, and maintaining knee bends for improved stability and control. 🐸 Obstacle Course - Zigzag walking with squats to navigate around cones, pick up frogs, and place them on top. This is to build coordination, rotation, and balance beyond a single plane. ⭕ Rings + Cones - Reaching, rotating, and placing rings while maintaining pelvic stability in half kneeling worked on controlled movement and alignment. ➡️ Side Stepping - Targeting single leg stance and hip strength to support balance and controlled movement. ⬅️ Backwards Walking - Building hip extension, knee flexion, and spatial awareness while navigating obstacles and scanning his environment. ⬇️ Cone Pick-Ups - Squatting to retrieve cones reinforces knee bends, lower extremity strength, and functional movement patterns. Every movement has a purpose. Every challenge builds control. This is how we turn strength into independence. 🙌 Amazing work Ricky! 💪 👉 Follow along to see how intensive therapy creates real, meaningful progress. #intensivetherapy #intensivesuittherapy #therasuit #progress #abilityplustherapy

The world will try to “fix” neurodivergent children. But here’s the truth: they are not broken. What they need isn’t fixing—it’s access. Access to communication. Access to education. Access to being understood. Because when you give a child the right tools and the right support…everything changes. 👉 Learn how to reach and teach your student at nolimitsmethod.com #specialeducation #disabilityawareness #disabilityadvocacy #neurodivergentsupport #nolimitsmethod
