Ability Fest 2026 — thank you 🧡 To everyone who purchased a ticket, danced, connected and supported what this event stands for, we felt that throughout the day. From when doors opened through to the final set, the energy, openness and sense of community across The Timber Yard was something special. This one felt different. More intimate, more connected, and a true reflection of what Ability Fest is all about. Music, community and accessibility coming together in one space. A true space to be yourself. To our artists, partners, crew, volunteers and staff, thank you for helping bring this to life. And to the Dylan Alcott Foundation, for continuing to lead with purpose and create real impact for young Australians with disability. Every ticket, every moment, every person in the room contributes to something bigger, supporting young Australians with disabilities to pursue their goals and achieve their dreams. We’re incredibly proud of what this has become.

We’re incredibly proud to share that, with the support of our partners, artists, crew, volunteers and every single person who came along, Ability Fest 2026 has raised $400,000 for the Dylan Alcott Foundation 🧡 These funds go directly toward supporting young Australians with disability by helping provide access to equipment, education, career pathways and opportunities that can genuinely change lives. From wheelchairs and assistive tech, to scholarships, creative pursuits and mentorship, the impact of this day extends far beyond the dancefloor. Ability Fest has always been about more than just music. It’s about creating a space where everyone belongs, and using that collective mission to drive real, lasting impact. To everyone who showed up, supported, and believed in what this stands for, thank you. This is what it’s all about. Image description in comments.

This is what it’s all about 🧡 Say hello to Angus, this year’s Dylan Alcott Foundation grant recipient. After a life changing brain injury in 2022, Angus has channelled his experience into creativity. He is now working toward becoming a full-time stand-up comedian and developing a comedy show to take to the world. With the support of the Dylan Alcott Foundation, he’s one step closer to making that vision a reality. Ability Fest exists for moments like this. Every ticket, every person in the crowd helps create opportunities that truly change lives. We’re excited to watch what’s next ✨

Taking care of the dancefloor, in more ways than one 💙 Powered by our long-time partners @anz_au , who had patrons sorted with free @earprotect.festivals earplugs so we could stay on the dancefloor longer, spin-to-win giveaways, and donation terminals making it easy to give back. Grateful for their ongoing support of the @dylanalcottfoundation , backing the dreams of young Australians with disability 🙌🏼 Carousel description in comments
