Wait for the result… This is how we shot cinematic tracking footage for @Canyon + @tomnoske We mounted a Sony FX6 to a Tilta Hydra Alien, rigged to a van, and operated it with a PlayStation controller from the passenger seat 🎮 The RS3 Pro handled stabilisation. The FX6 gave us internal ND and fast autofocus. The PlayStation controller gave us precise, safe control without hanging out the window. If you’re a small team shooting fast-moving subjects - bikes, runners, cars - we highly recommend this setup A few tips: • Balance your gimbal after rigging, not before • Use hard mounts, not suction only, if you’re planning long takes • Use AirPods to direct your talent from inside the van • Map gimbal movements to the controller to keep it intuitive on the move This rig was the perfect combination of speed and control. Save this for your next motion shoot.
