this song came into my orbit in the fall and it was one of those sticky ones. I knew I wanted to sing it with friends. It’s an old folk song written by Utah Phillips, recorded by Rosalie Sorrels — and here, it’s performed by me, Ciara, and Rose at Archer’s studio in the east village. It was a cozy sunday, New York November, damp and alive, in harmony.
