“eternal spring”
I lost my best friend three years ago, and in trying to figure out how to process that, I made this film. the last time I saw him was December, so although spring was a time of beauty + regrowth it also carried so much loss as I remembered those first few months trying to understand this life without him. I desired to stay in a place that wouldn’t change, rather than growing further from my memories with him as flowers grew and the weather warmed. I wanted to visualize my grief. this film would be nothing without my co-creator, cinematographer, editor + colorist,
@jack.vid , who understood my heart exactly.
such an important part of this project was also how it sounded, and I am forever in debt to
@pelhampalanti for understanding me and hearing me. It is everything I could’ve imagined and more.
