💚CLASS ALERT 💚
Welcome to DANCE PARTY: the great thaw series! You are cordially invited to move and groove with me.
Whilst “thawing out” this winter, I have been dreaming of moving and grooving with you all. This spring, I am offering a class where we shake, dance, toss and jam out TOGETHER.
My class is an all bodies/levels welcome “dance party.” It stems from my background as an improviser, modern dancer, performing artist and fitness instructor. This class focuses on community care, moving for oneself and lots of release. We move collectively, intuitively and with gentle guidance. The class is NOT choreography focused. Instead I lead repetitive follow along type movements that gradually build in rigor throughout the session. We get sweaty, we get strong, and we vibe out. There are always modifications.
This is a “come as you are” mindset (shoutout Nancy Stark Smith). No dance background necessary. We dance barefoot, no mirrors, music loud and hearts open.
This is an entirely donation based class. Suggested donation is $10-20 per class (cash or venmo). If means are a hindrance, please still come! Reach out directly for guest pass!
