Equilux<>Equinox ≈ A Psycho-Magik Journey
A midsummer performance at GAM Torino for Luci d’Artista, in collaboration with composer Aaron Drake.
On the longest day of the year—the solstice, and my mother’s birthday—we opened a sensory threshold between light and dark, stillness and resonance, inner and outer weather. The performance took place within a sudden clearing between thunderstorms, allowing us to enter the weather itself—smell, sound, trance, and shifting states of presence.
We explored:
— the body as a weather system
— bi-location and trance-induced spatial drift
— phenomenological asymmetries between the left and right body sides
— light and sound waves calibrated to mark this cosmic pivot
— and the subtle integration of Turin’s temporal and spatial fields into collective psyche.
