Adam Walker is an Austin-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose roots in the city’s music scene run deep - he began working in local recording studios the summer after eighth grade and never looked back. While studying at Loyola University in New Orleans, he met fellow Austinite Vince Winik, and formed the indie Americana duo Me Nd Adam. As the band’s vocalist and co-writer, Walker has helped build Me Nd Adam into one of Austin’s most celebrated DIY acts, earning festival spots at Austin City Limits, Shaky Knees, and SXSW, and opening for artists like The Killers, Bob Schneider and Ghostland Observatory. Beyond the stage, Walker co-founded Keep Austin Cheer’d, an annual benefit concert supporting Casa Marianella, driven by his belief in Austin’s culture of welcome and his desire to protect what makes the city worth loving.
