On April 17th ⭐️ album release day ⭐️ we’re celebrating at the @razorntape shop in Greenpoint. DJs from 4pm, then at 6:30 we listen to the full album together on their beautiful in-store sound system. Copies of the vinyl available to take home.

This month, we’re sending out free downloads of @captain.planet.music ’s 3rd record with us, ‘No Visa’.
On this record, Captain Planet unveiled a fully matured and truly unique form of electronic music- one that bridged gaps between worldwide cultural diasporas as well as contemporary dance music sub-genres (house, hip hop, dancehall & global bass). Throughout every song, it’s clear to hear his inspired appreciation for breaking the boundaries between genres and bridging continents through rhythm.

One of my favorite things about running a label is being able to jump on a plane and show up in person to celebrate releases with our artists who’ve become close friends. Was especially happy to be in Mexico City last night opening for @sotomayor_music , playing a few records b2b with my brother @nickodemusnyc . I’ve eased up a little on DJing as the business has grown and I’ve gotten older. I like to travel slower now, spend more time eating my way around each city I visit (and get 8 hours of sleep). Sometimes I miss that life though, so these moments feel even more special. Thanks @pahuamusic & @tongaconga for having us ❤️

Woke up to shock, grief and numbness - can’t believe you left the world this fast Bryan. Just a few months ago we were rocking outdoors at the Frying Pan, drinking and laughing like old times. Will never forget constantly cruising in your whip leaving parties late night going 100mph on the BQE, blasting music from all our friends & fam always. Or being at your spot having my mind blown by whatever new tech you were on that day. Catching you on the flip on impromptu Red Hook trips. I wish we’d gotten to spend more time in these last years catching up & shooting the shit. You were always on to the next, forever making moves, keeping your own peace. One of the most generous people I’ve ever been able to call a friend. Miss you already brother - and it’s crazy two people photo are gone now. RIP Bry and RIP Jai 💔 🕊️

The race was run today and we did it! $7669 raised by the @bastardjazz team for mental health and educational support for kids in Gaza 🇵🇸 via the @unrwausa - immensely proud of the squad and a thousand shukrans to all the friends and colleagues who pitched in. Love yall habibis 💟💟💟💟💟
Hey everyone, today marks another year around the sun for me 🎂 I’m feeling very grateful for all the messages and the network of friends, fam and unconditional love I have in my life who have made it such a special week (and special life ❤️)
I wanted to use this opportunity to draw a little more attention to the October 12 @unrwa 5k run that myself and my @bastardjazz crew are doing to help raise money for mental health and psychosocial support for kids in Gaza. We’ve collectively raised over $3200 and are pushing to try and get it to 5k. These kids have experienced unimaginable trauma and this is such a crucial aspect of rebuilding and compassion we can all try to help with. So many of us feel so hopeless and frozen in the face of this ongoing genocide and engaging in this way, for me, has been a way of working with that.
