Visual identity + onwards for @kabulagogo
Long overdue post, but not any less proud to share some key pieces of the work done over the last couple of months.
KABUL à GoGo is the first community-driven electronic music and cultural hub in Utrecht. The design is heavily inspired by kite making techniques and kite fighting from Afghanistan, “Gudiparan Bazi”.
When invited to help out with the identity and website, I felt nervous and totally hyped at the same time. Doing a project like this - designing for a night club and cultural space - is a big part of why I decided to chase a career as independent designer. To be honest, this opportunity felt like a dream come true. Luckily, I didn’t have to do this alone. Huge SO to @maithaiderijk who navigated the vision and translations to a place that felt just right as a starting point. From there the adventure has only begun. Can’t wait to see how the place and identity will evolve over the coming time!

Full brand design, Ecomm site and social assets for ENZO. Built in Webflow, converted to Shopify
ENZO is an analog smoking device with a twist. Or should we say slide? Its signature sliding mechanism lets you shift between three modes: stash, load, and smoke.
The identity and web design take cues from this movement.
Just like the device, the site, the logo and other elements of the identity slide between these different states.
The goal was to make this page a product experience. At the time Webflow just launched its Spline integration, meaning I could build an interactive 3D model, without the hard coding work, and let the user explore ENZO from every angle.
I also produced a bunch of brand animations and social assets for launch. Some extra fancy 3D work was done by @incartex ✨
Very thankful for this project, as it was one of the first ones after I went freelance mode. Thanks for all the trust and fun along the way @ruscaa 🙏🤘

“Four original house tracks, each with its own signature sound. Peak time throbbing, electrifying house vibes with a distinguished layer to it alternate with more melancholic house for the after hours, mimicking that feeling of never wanting the night to end.
The EP comes with two remixes by Venice Arms (Curses) and upcoming Amsterdam based talent Kyra Khaldi who both add another layer to the record.”
