I’m a graphic designer & illustrator working from my studio with fellow designers

@vechtclub.utrecht in the Netherlands. Earlier this year, I took the leap into full-time freelancing and really enjoying it! The first few months were quiet, but things have picked up very nicely. I’ve been working on a mix of branding projects, graphic design, and illustrations for festivals, art events, other cultural projects and even painted a mural in my hometown of Utrecht! Next to this I’m teaching a 13-week graphic design course, really enjoy getting other people excited about design!
What can’t be missed on this page is that I have a BIG passion for risograph printing (and a small one for screenprinting) I love experimenting, exploring and diving into the pinting process. Sometimes I share that passion through workshops I host in my studio. Lately, I’ve been really into making collages using photos from my travels. My trip to Japan last year was a big source of inspiration, and still making new work out of it.
Most days, you’ll find me in my cozy studio corner, surrounded by collected travel objects, work I’m proud of, inspiring pieces by other designers, and of course colors everywhere! Just around the corner of my studio I have a big vegetable garden with my girlfriend (her idea, but now I’m hooked too). It’s full of veggies, flowers and loooots of work 🥵 but easily my second favorite thing to do, after risograph printing. In summer, you’ll probably find me there, or having a fight with my risograph printer, off on a camping trip, dancing at a festival and enjoying the city of Utrecht ❤️🌞✌🏻
