Asian American Heritage Council (AAHC) of Central Florida brought together nine Asian non‑profit organizations on May 17, 2026 for a special Asian Cultural Festival honoring May as Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.
A Proclamation of Unity:
Honorable Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings delivered inspiring remarks and officially proclaimed May as AAPI Heritage Month in Orange County, Florida.
This year’s theme — “Power in Unity: Strengthening Communities Together” — celebrates the collaboration, resilience, and shared purpose that continue to uplift and connect Central Florida’s diverse communities.
Get ready for the Asian Cultural Festival Scavenger Hunt!

1. Form teams with a minimum of 2 members to a maximum of 4 members.
Register team members and Team Name with Scavenger Hunt staff at the REACH tables inside the Lakeshore Center near the stage.
2. Each team needs a Team Name which will need to appear in each photo taken. Holding a piece of paper with your Team Name in the photo is acceptable.
3. ACF Photo Scavenger Hunt will start at 6pm and run until 6:30pm or until we have 3 winning teams, whichever is faster. Photos do not need to be taken in numeric order. Teams just need to complete 25 photos of the items on the list. Teams can split up to accomplish certain photos. Teams must check in with ACF Scavenger Hunt staff to get
photos validated.
4. First team to find and take photos of each of the ACF Scavenger Hunt items in 30 minutes or less, wins 1st Place. Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
• 1st Place prize are vouchers worth $100
• 2nd Place prize are vouchers worth $50
• 3rd Place prize are vouchers worth $25
5. Vouchers must be spent at the Asian Cultural Festival on 5/17/26 and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. All scavenger hunt items can be found indoor and outdoor at the Asian
Cultural Festival only at Bill Breeze Park. No purchase necessary of items in the photos.
7. By participating in this activity, all team members agree to the releasing
of your ACF Scavenger Hunt photos to become the property of the Asian
American Heritage Council of Central Florida for marketing purposes
