Recently, A2C, @blckvcorg , and the Emerging Venture Capitalists Association (EVCA) kicked off the summer solstice with our first “Summer Blanc” event — a white-attire celebration held at Quincy Market in Faneuil Hall. We brought together some of the most inspiring individuals in Boston’s venture community. From founders to funders to creative collaborators, the energy was electric and the connections were off the charts. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners, BLCK VC and Emerging Venture Capitalists Association (EVCA), for helping bring this vision to life. And a major thank you to J.P. Morgan for making it all possible through their support and unwavering commitment to our communities. This gathering followed the Living Art Boston Summit, an inspiring night led by @madeincubator and the @cityofboston centered around fashion, tech, art, and economic mobility. It also featured a powerful keynote by the city’s Chief Communications Officer, Jessicah Pierre. This entire event was a beautiful collaboration to uplift the visionary founders and funders who are shaping the future of our city. A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure to hold space and talk innovation & the elevation of Boston with some of the top investors and CEOs in the city from companies like @tripadvisor @bostonglobe @toasttab @wayfair + more. As grateful as I was to be a part of the conversation, I couldn’t ignore the fact that I was one of the few founders of color in the room.
