Workshop ‘Collective Cooking’, 5 days of intercultural exchange, hosted by @kisdesign in Köln, Germany! . After welcoming a group of KISD students, accompanied by @lisa_janss and @a.ksel , to @esadtpm last November to explore the theme of ‘Inhabiting Europe Together’, it was our turn to spend a week in Köln. We took over their fabulous FoodLab with the theme of ‘Collective Cooking’. We had two main goals: to cook (vegan!) for the whole group and to experiment with bread, an everyday staple that comes in all kinds of flavors, forms and social practive around the world. There were some interesting ideas to try out, from bread for dipping sauces to a game of chance with flavor variations, as well as bread as a transportable container or bricks made from old breadcrumbs. Because this week at @kisdesign , we are honoured to welcome students from @esadtpm and @studio_bainem for a new collaboration, it is a nice opportunity to share the little video of ‘Habitons L’Europe Ensemble’ project. A five days of intercultural exchanges that took place in Toulon, on the theme of building common spaces at the European level. Together with @lisa_janss and a group of KISD students, we were welcomed by @esadtpm , @studio_bainem , Valerie Michel Faure and Lea Albert, in Plan de la Garde for a workshop rich in discovery and exchange. This project was supported by @ofaj_dfjw @ufadfh x AmbassadeDeFranceenAllemagne Since yesterday, we are very happy to continue this exciting collaboration in Cologne!!!

L’Écho Des Temps Lents. What if humans took the time to truly observe non-humans? L’Écho Des Temps Lents is a performative exhibition that took place on June 29, 2025, in Cologne, with poet and researcher Tanya Gautam a.k.a @moonlitbrooks , violoncello player Marie-Louise Wundling, violinist Christine Beimel, and sound producer Béla Baumann @belan______ The project offers, for one evening, a musical performance, prints, an interactive installation, and visual compositions of poetry, video, and ceramics. It follows a speculative fiction: “We are in the year 2317. For three centuries, humanity has profoundly transformed its relationship with the material world. What was once called “inert”, rocks, mountains, minerals, is now recognized as an integral part of the living. A hypothesis that had long been marginal took root: what if minerals could think, but on the scale of geological time? And what if the life forms that inhabited them, lichens, mosses, mineralizing bacteria, were their mediators, emphasizing them?” This project blends art, design, and science, politicizing our connection to the non-human through artistic expression and questioning our ways of relating to other beings. Well, it’s finally time to share the project that has been living in my mind for the last six months, and honestly, probably even longer. I’ve officially finished my master’s degree, and I’m not really used to write on Instagram, but posting this feels inevitable because this project is also an ode to friendship. Without my hard-working friends, I could never have created such a great experience. L’Écho Des Temps Lents. What if humans took the time to truly observe non-humans? A performative exhibition that took place on June 29, 2025, in Cologne. This project is the result of a beautiful collaboration with the artists Tanya Gautam a.k.a Moonlit Brooks @moonlitbrooks , Christine Beimel, Béla Baumann @belan______ and Marie-Louise Wundling. These four magical people trusted me and came together to create a soundscape for the exhibition. The project became both a visual and sonic experience. I’m incredibly grateful, and I want to thank the @artyfartygallery once again for welcoming us and believing in the work. From there, the project continued its little journey: it was exhibited at the end of the year at my design school, KISD, and much to my surprise and absolute excitement, I was nominated for the Cologne Design Prize 2025. We were able to exhibit all last week at the @makkoeln in the center of Cologne. This adventure is now slowly coming to an end, and I’m very moved and grateful to have experienced all of this. None of it would have been possible without the trust and support of my two supervisors, Andreas Wrede and Lasse Scherffig, as well as (and the list is long!) Simon, who truly saved my life with his ceramic kiln; Giovanni, the photographer and filmmaker; and Moritz, Jule, Nico, Lauren, Monty, Fred, Kathy, Lucy, André, Teressa, Jana, Analia, Clara, Philipp… all of you who supported me and helped me move forward. I’m incredibly lucky to be so well surrounded, and this feels like the right moment to write it loud and clear! Workshop “Inhabiting Europe Together,” five days of cross-cultural exchange on the topic of building common spaces at the European level, approached from the designers’ perspective. Welcomed for a five-day immersion at Plan de la Garde (🙏🏽), students from @esadtpm of Toulon and @kisdesign of Köln took the time to reflect together on this delicate and vast issue, mixing French, German, and English. They came up with a number of proposals, from urban parks to role-playing games, to address essential issues such as the idea of migration as a source of wealth, cohabitation between humans and non-humans, and the habitability of our continent in a deregulated world.
