What a YEAR! 🤩🤩🤩 Let’s reflect a bit… January: I signed with @wedsociety.oklahoma and they had me as a vendor at their magazine release party in January. February: Custom work for @abigail_erb and @noah_erb after meeting them at the @wedsociety.oklahoma mag release party in January where they were the couple on the cover 😍 March: Bridal Wedding Shower Brunch for @jordyreinke_ to celebrate her marriage that took place later on in 2025. April: Customs coming out of my ears. 🙌🏼 May: Celebrated the long awaited wedding of @alisontrullsullivan and @r_sulli at the stunning @bluestemmanor and I remember their guests being some of the kindest I’d met this year. June: Illustrations for @samanthaeduke ‘s bridal shower with her sweet family and friends at none other than BA’s newest content capturing studio @zorastudioco July: Made a new friend in @hannahvandiverphotography who did some WORK with updating my brand and capturing me just as I am. Thankful always for her eye, creativity and the vibey studio @zorastudioco where she worked her magic! August: The most delicate fun wedding… vintage cakes, custom t-shirts, stunning guests.. what a night with @addysyn.stout and @reed_m_stout at @bluestemmanor 😍 September: made a quick friend in @lisaschoelen and helped her and Wade celebrate a “love that had been loved in” in OKC with my assistant @monica_lynn_ at @theclarkokc . We slammed a @braums bag of burgers before walking into that party—and boy was that a fun, core memory! October: Celebrated at @welltownbrewing the wedding of @madiiiiip . Fun vibes, views and drinks..and @taylor_enix_ taught me how to “social media.” November: my last live event of the year was at @sydn3ynbernal and @bernalj71 wedding held at @springsvenuetulsa . Festive, fun and a mariachi band too?! Did I mention how hot the spicy salsa was?… 🥵 December: took on a ton of customs and ended up creating over 70 custom ornaments for you guys to round out the 2025 year. I took a breath and took a break after all of that! WOOF. Hey! 👋🏼 Lots of new beautiful faces and people around here lately, so I wanted to take the time to reintroduce myself.. drumroll please! 🥁 … I’m Jessica! I started doodling people during the COVID-19 pandemic when I was bored at home, and haven’t stopped since. It’s my joy and passion to combine my love for creating, and my love for people into tangible gifts. Pinch me, it’s been the neatest thing to see the ways God has used my quarantine hobby for his glory the last five years. I’ve gone from custom work to illustrating at live events and love both equally. It’s so fulfilling for me to meet so many different people and come to know them through doodling and creating. If I have created for you in the past, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting me with special things, stories, victories, and people. It’s a privilege to be a part of those things. A bit about me—I’m married to the greatest dude I know and we’re celebrating 8 years of marriage this spring. He made me a #boymom and I love every moment of it (almost, kids are hard, amiright). I grew up in small town Southern Oklahoma on a cattle ranch and graduated from OSU and became a Speech Pathologist by trade. I love a good book, a dressed up coffee, a McDonald’s Coke (iykyk), sunsets, being in the presence of my family and friends, baking, dining experiences, and binge watching Grey’s Anatomy. I’m a 2w1 Ennegram, HOC Spring NR (again, iykyk), and a healthy mix of an introverted extrovert. I love a good Amazon find, making a house a home, and going on long walks on the beach (for real, put me on a beach somewhere and it’s the happiest you’ll see me). If you’ve made it this far, hats off to you! Remember when @departed_music @turnpiketroubadours and a handful of other good ol’ boys put together the Boys From Oklahoma concert series at @boonepickenstate back in April of 2025?! That’s how long we’ve been waiting on this one. Mikayla and I have husbands that work together and we connected immediately. She had me booked before we left the palm trees at @jrmurphys_ and headed to the concert—I even put her wedding date in my phone to reserve! For real, some of the most kind people I’ve ever met!
