You don’t need more connections, you need the right room.
Had the opportunity to bring together some brilliant Black audio engineers here in Atlanta at
@eatpurelyplant and the energy in the room was undeniable. The food was incredible, but the conversations were even better.
We spoke openly about our experiences navigating this industry and this world as people of color—the wins, the challenges, and everything in between. We shared real insight on how to move, grow, and protect our peace while building in spaces that don’t always reflect us.
Alongside that, we talked about fueling our bodies with better choices and doing the real work of healing our minds through therapy and intentional growth.
This is what community looks like. intentional, honest, and built on pouring into each other beyond just our careers.
Everyone in this group is already doing powerful things, but after this meetup, it’s clear this is only the beginning.
If you’re a Black audio engineer or audio engineer of color stop waiting for the invite. Build your circle. Create your own room.
More to come. 💡
