Last night’s packed show in Berlin was the final gig of our European tour with the absolute gentlemen of @minamideutsch – 13 cities, five countries, 1000s of kilometres, countless Burger King Long Chickens, plant based Long Chickens, after-show jams and silly jokes. Thanks so much to everyone who came to a show, hosted us, supported us by spending their money at the merch table or just had a beer with us. Biiiig thanks to @mikeysykey for so impeccably doing sound for us and being a general legend. Thanks to @swampbooking for arranging the tour and of course Minami Deutsch themselves for being so welcoming and generous to us throughout. MINAMI DEUTSCH (+ WEITE) | 07.12.2025 | GRETCHEN Minami Deutsch are Tokyo’s self-proclaimed “repetition freaks,” channeling psychedelic rock, minimal techno and - above all - krautrock into hypnotic, motorik-driven grooves. Founded by Kyotaro Miula in 2014, the band has grown from street performances in Tokyo to extensive touring across Europe and North America, sharing stages with krautrock icon Damo Suzuki. Their latest album Fortune Goodies (2022) offers a distinctly Japanese perspective on the krautrock lineage. The band Weite, known for bringing international musicians together under one experimental umbrella, shares a similarly adventurous spirit (w/ members of Elder, Delving & Perilymph) - making the pairing of these acts a natural fit in the modern kraut/psych landscape. 🎟️ Artwork by @olyadyer
